Since 2005, CA Technologies has partnered with the Anita Borg Institute for Women and Technology (ABI), a nonprofit dedicated to increasing the impact of women on all aspects of technology and increasing the positive impact of technology on women. ABI develops tools and programs designed to help industry, academia and government recruit, retain and develop women technology leaders. As a partner, CA is involved with the organization’s annual Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing in both the U.S. and India. This series of conferences is designed to bring the research and career interests of women in computing to the forefront, and to provide a platform for women employees to interact with technology experts from the industry. CA also recently co-hosted a women in IT event in Belgium with ABI and is a founding partner of ABI (dot) New York, a community which aims to inspire women to pursue and remain in technical fields, provide the guidance needed for career advancement, and break stereotypes about technical job opportunities. CA was a finalist for ABI’s 2013 Top Company for Technical Women Award.
Venture-catalyst Springboard Enterprises is the premier platform where entrepreneurs, investors and industry experts meet to build great women-led businesses. Since 2009, CA Technologies employees have given their time, serving as coaches to entrepreneurs in the network.
